This is a lamp that I reconstructed a few years ago. When I originally got it, the base was frosty/clear and the lamp top was also plain white (I believe). For anyone who knows me would know that I absolutely love COLOR!! So when I got this lamp I decided to give it some life! I loved how unique it looked especially with the unique spiral at the top of the base. Its very cool and different. I had some glass paint kickin' around and decided to put them to the test. I'm really drawn to blues and purples so I painted it dark blue with a nice neon like light blue for the spiral. I have recovered many lamp shades in my day. (only becuase a lot of lamp shades are horribly boring) I have a whole chest full of fabric and then some! So I went through all of my fabrics and came across this material. I thought it would really brightened the lamp up. Then I finished the lamp with a bluish/green shell trim. I really adore this lamp and have gotten a lot of comments on it. Thanks for viewing my pic! I would love to hear what you think of it!
